Temptations Cupcakes

Only the best place in the entire world.  Seriously. A little bite of heaven is no joke.  Emma and I had another play date today and instead of being inside all day, or sweating outside, we took a little trip to this wonderful, most amazing place.  The girls had a blast. Duh. Emma didn't like frosting. What the?

Peace. Love. & Cupcakes.  :)

Photo FUN

Yesterday, Emma & I Skyped with my family down south.  Afterwards, she kept saying "picture! picture!".  So, today when I got home, she started again. "Picture! Picture"!  I decided to turn on photobooth on the computer and play around.  She absolutely loved it...

This is Emma's freshly awake look. And my, been at work all day look. And my houses, mess look.  :)

BLOWING
 KISSES!
 Funny Faces!

 "Do your ears hang low do they wobble to and fro"?

 Hooray!

 "Olo"?

The ABSOLUTE BEST part was when I was going through the pictures and she saw the pictures below and exclaimed "WHITNEY"!!!! I love how she could still tell...Cracks me up! LoL. Love ya Whit. Don't kill me please. You left it on my computer, so it's totally not my fault it ended up on the blog.  :)

Oscar

Ladies & Gentlemen...It is my great pleasure to introduce to you....

....{drum roll please}.....

Oscar, Oscar & Oscar! Our family's newest additions!

 Pretty sure Oscar is either suicidal, or a circus fish. After only a few hours, the {PLOP}-ing is not annoying at all. Okay, it really is. Just a little bit.

Isn't Oscar such a great model? Always posing so perfectly.

Flo. Anyone? "Flo, has anyone seen flo"? (Finding Nemo for any of you loony's who didn't catch that or who don't have children or a strange love for disney/pixar movies).

Emma loves her new friends, Oscar, Oscar & Oscar.
P.S. I know what you're thinking. We are awesomely unique with names. I know.

Like the fish food all over the counter? Uh huh, I didn't even clean up before taking pictures. Gross. I apologize.

Making her fishy face with her new pals.  Oh, how I hope Oscar and Oscar and Oscar will last. I have to admit, I'm likely going to be the worst fish owner. EVER.
{Keeping fingers crossed}

Lazy Song

Emma absolutely LOVES Bruno Mars' new video/ song Lazy Song.  After all, the video does have monkey's.  :)  We watched the video premier a thousand times. No exaggeration. Okay, maybe just a little. There is a good chance I had a little teasing fun while she was enjoying her new favorite tune. I thought it was hilarious..she. did not.

P.S. Excuse my ooberly messy house. It was a Lazy Day for me too. Haha. & also ignore my annoying voice and laugh. Gosh, I hate  love hearing myself!!!!!!

Untitled

Untitled. Where to even begin? Little miss Emma is my angel. I love her to pieces. BUT this week has been extremely "fun" with her teething.  Her first 5 teeth, honestly, not that bad. She woke up maybe once a night, and that was it! The way she's been feeling and acting, she must have the rest of her entire mouth coming in all at once. Not kidding. She will be her normal happy self one second, and literally, screaming the next. All day. Back & forth. When I say screaming, I mean I'm pretty sure the neighbors can hear-down the street. She will have a 5 minute bout and back to all smiles.  Don't believe me? Check out those pictures. One frame right after another-had the camera out for 10 minutes. No joke.

We've been teaching her to cover her mouth when she coughs, and how to wipe her nose and also her face after eating. She really does enjoy it. {by "it" I mean destroying every tissue box in the house-but I let it go- after all it's the cheapest entertainment toy I have and she really does try to do it right}!

Decemeber

December is a fabulous & busy month for our little family. Emma's birthday. Our anniversary. Christmas. All exciting & favorite celebrations of mine.

I've already posted about Emma's 1st birthday. I think I must have major writers block tonight, maybe some sleep will do me good? I don't have much to say. I'll keep it short & sweet (like the holiday's).

{FaMiLy TiMe}

My mom, dad & sister came to visit. We always have a blast. We went to the Staples' Christmas Pary in SLC. It was nice to see everyone again (most I hadn't seen since my wedding)! We also had a Swapp family Christmas party-those are always fun...crazy Swapp's I tell ya! HAHAHAHAHA! Last but not least, the Spackman family Christmas Party--delicious food!!!

A few games played. I'm a big game lover. I could play for hours.

{Anniversary}

Celebrating anniversary's is always a good mile marker. We may only be on our 3rd year of marriage, but it sure has been a blast. He surprised me with a night away...I think we both needed it. It was fun to feel like we were "dating" again, you know? I've grown to love Adam more than I ever thought imaginable. I can't wait to see what the future brings.

Us. 3 years ago-the day before our wedding.

{PhoNe CaLL}

My brother Mike called from Honduras. It was so great to TALK to him! It's so crazy to me how much a person can change and grow (for the better of course) over the last year and a half. 6 more months & he's HOME! He said he's not counting down...but I am! We have a lot of The Office to catch up on. A lot of movies (Avatar, Megamind, Inception, etc) to catch up on. Oh! & he gets to meet his niece for the first time! Miss you like CRAZY Mike!

{CuTeNess}

I know I take a lot of pictures of Emma. It's for me if no one else cares. I love seeing her different expressions, and comparing pictures to older ones, watching her grow in a "frozen" state. Holiday's gives me an excuse to get a few extra snap shots...not only of little E, but of all my family & loved ones!

{Christmas MuSic}
I'm one of those weirdo's who could listen to Christmas music much longer than the one month "allowed". Blech. Who doesn't want to listen to it all year round?! It's so happy. It's a love song, a disney sounding song, a happy, a joyful song, all mixed in one. It makes me giddy. Yup. Giddy. :)

{P.S.} Opening gifts is always fun too!

{Mom was pretty excited to get her Kindle & Kindle Leather cover-way to go Dad!}

Emma was so cute with all her toys. But, this "little Emma" doll was the best reaction. She grabed that baby and as she hugged it exclaimed, "Baby"! {Priceless}.

Bear-anxiously waiting for Mom, Dad & Whitney to walk through the front door!

Koda-Playing with his Christmas gift from my Grandma Swapp. {She's always so sweet to get gifts for the pups too}!

{Celebration}

And, of course, as a part of celebrating, just about anything, there is food. Ah, I love food. With so much going on in December, you can bet I gained a few lbs. Here's a few cute pics of Emma with her Grandma & Grandpa Staples & our family cherished carmel corn popcorn balls!

{As if getting her face and fingers sticky wasn't good enough, she had to pretend the popcorn was a telephone-just about everything is these days- and got carmel all over her hair}!

{Fishy Faces}!

{Grandpa-you're so silly, but you sure do know how to make a little girl giggle}!!!!
