It's been a while!

I'm a slacker...but no one really read this anyways, so it's more for my sake. ha ha. We hit the 30 week mark today! yay! However, it's been a crazy day! Last night I had a little blood after visiting the potty. But, only a little, and baby was kicking before bed, so I didn't think anything of it. Woke up this morning, ate breakfast, cereal..juice..the goods. Baby didn't move and she tends to be most active in the mornings. I called my doctor just to mention the blood from last night, JUST IN CASE...I was totally calm, until the nurse told me I needed to RUSH to Labor & Delivery. Then, the panic set in.

I call Adam, he is so good, and met me down there, I didn't even ask :) ..so nice to have an understanding, and willing husband.

They check me in and baby's heart rate (as well as mine) was up, so the nurse got us juice and cookies, etc to lay around for a while, so they could monitor her. Baby's heart beat then dropped a bit and they weren't seeing the evelevation they wanted, so they had to "shock" her. It's just some weird tool thing that makes a sound when placed on your belly (like when you have an error on your computer) but the tone "scares" your baby and is supposed to make them move, as well as elevate the heart beat. It got the elevation in her heart beat like they wanted to see, but she still didnt' move. She passed the non-stress test with "flying colors"..but with the little movement since I have been there, they ordered a biological profile rating ultrasound. She passed that as well, 10/10. She weighs 3lbs 5oz and was so so active! The tech was clueless as to why I couldn't feel her moving so much, but he couldn't either from the outside touch. There were lots of fluids, and placenta was in great shape... so the blood and not being able to feel movement is a mystery...but the doctor said, baby is perfect! WHAT A RELIEF! Plus, we got some cute new pictures! :) So we had a little scare...it was the first this pregnancy, and let's hope it's the last!
