"I have a family here on earth
They are so good to me
I want to share my life with them
through all eternity.
Families can be together Forever
Through Heavenly Father's plan
I always want to me with my own family
And the Lord has shown me how I can
The Lord has shown me how I can"

Last week Adam, Emma & I were fortunate enough to visit my parents & sister in Cedar City! I love being able to spend time with my family...sitting together at dinner, watching t.v., playing card games, or the wii..doesn't matter if we were doing nothing, we still enjoy each others company! I am so glad to have them living closer...although I still think 5 hours is too far!
It was Emma's first "road trip"! She did great in the car. Slept almost the entire time! The dogs on the other hand...a royal pain! LoL! Koda is just so ADHD, he was jumping all over the car...Bear is a mommy's boy & had to sit on my lap the whole time, as usual! So, all the kiddo's did good!

My parents were so nice to let Adam & I get away for two dates! A movie one night & dinner the next! We went and saw "Lovely Bones"...which I though was a joke...Adam enjoyed it though. Just not my cup of tea..I laughed (as in at the movie...not because it was supposed to be funny) a little too much for it to be a "mystery/suspenseful" movie! However, I enjoyed spending time with Adam! We don't do alone dates very often, especially now with little Emma, but I always fall in love with him all over again. He always opens my door, holds my hand, & makes me feel so loved!

My Dad has always been a big kid. Finding fun things for everyone to do.. He had a brilliant idea to go buy some sleds & try sledding down the side of their house's hill...it worked...& it was awesome! We went during the day (which was so warm & sunny!!!) and made a few "trails"..Then, another big kid idea popped into his head.. "Let's do mid-night sledding"! So, we did! We went in, played a little Mario Brothers Wii..pigged out on food (which I did ALL weekend..not just then..Tee Hee)! Once it got dark & cold, and our trails were frozen and icy...we were out to go play! Adam was super sweet & stayed inside to watch Emma & the dogs while we went out to play...Plus, I think this sledding may have been too lame for him...he never said so...but I'm pretty sure I know so! LoL! Whitney wanted to make a trail to go down the side of their house, and down to the back off the deck/terrace...It didn't work during the daytime..Too much snow slowed us down before we got around the corner..But during the "mid-night slide" it worked all too well!!! Whitney was the first down..she FLEW! She also was freezing (as she wore thin sweats..that's it) so she had to go inside and layer up! Dad, Mom & I decided to make a "train" & go down together..HOLY COW! I had major flashbacks to "rockin' roller coaster" at Disney World! I'm pretty sure, I had to close my eyes most the way down! With all our weight..we went a little too fast, and couldn't stop! We went over some rock boulders & we paid for it! My mom's sled, as well as mine, were cracked from where we hit the rocks...we also had some good bruises to show for it! I, a week later, still can not sit without hurting! LoL! It was so worth it though, and I can't wait to have Adam & Emma join us next year (on the small "bunny" hills)!
I get to see my family fairly often..although I would like to more. But, for some reason, I had a hard time leaving this trip. It took a lot for me to hold back tears. Maybe, it's because I felt like I was back home. Adam asked if something was wrong, he could tell I was down...Let's just blame my hormones still regulating! LoL! Anyways, here's to my family that Heavenly Father has spoiled me with...

To my fun loving Dad, Brent...I love you!
To my talented caring Mom, Debbie... I love you!
To my dedicated, uplifting brother, Michael...I love you!
To my cute & crazy sister, Whitney... I love you!
To my perfect & handsome husband, Adam...I love you!
To my blessing & beautiful daughter, Emma...I love you!
To my fuzzy fur ball monsters, Bear & Koda... I love you!
