She started losing hair up front when she was about 2 1/2 weeks. She is getting it back now, just lighter..so she looks slightly bald..like her dad! Tee Hee!

She is getting so big! At her two week check up, she weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. She was 21 1/2 inches long. Now, almost 6 weeks old, she is almost out of all of her newborn clothes! She is smiling and begining to coo! She is going to be an independant one. She loves laying on the floor, just looking around..she can do it for hours. I love laying next to her talking & cooing back. She makes me laugh and smile so much!
Today "we", started reading scriptures together. She may not understand, but it's good for mommy. Research says that interacting and bonding, even reading a simple recipe book from the beginning is important in a child's development...I figure Heavenly Father has given me such a precious gift, the least I can do is try to build my relationship between him, myself, and my family. It's been a few years since I have done any personal scripture study.
When I got pregnant with her, I made sure I said my personal prayers everyday, when that was a rare occasion prior to my miscarriage...I know it helped me through some emotional things I felt throughout pregnancy..and it changed me for the better. I know if I improve on my personal scripture study, I will notice a difference in my life like I did with my personal prayer.
It amazes me everyday how blessed Adam & I are to have her in our lives. Here's to bettering myself. For me. For Adam. For my angel.
Ok So I am going to try this for the 3rd time! lol
ReplyDeleteI know Emma looks a lot like Adam.. but that side profile picture of her looks just like her mommy! So cute!
Bathtime is the best of course! So relaxing. Sorry you got peed on.. but I guess that's something I'll have to get used to with a boy huh? Oh the joys of motherhood :)
I love that you update your blog! So fun to read. And I also love that I now have a copy of our '2003 Classic Video' hahaha!
